Put it on the board, Championship

We did it. Nobody could beat us. They tried. But no one could. Tonight we won our the Intramural Championship. I think we had two people in the stands cheering for us. Thanks Jenny Leslie. We played a team that before tonight we had beat by 25 and 10. What we didn't have was our #1 draft pick Andy Seiler. We realized how much he meant to our team when we were losing by 1 point at half time. With about six minutes left they were ahead of us by four points. Throughout this whole season we have kept our poise when the game has gotten close. It was no different now. With a minute and a half to go we were winning by three points. I missed a couple of clutch free throws down the stretch. with 7 seconds left in the game the score was tied and Jason drove to the basket and missed a layup. Out of nowhere Howard Meier gets a rebound and almost tips it in. He misses and Jason takes the awkward looking bunny and makes it with 1.7 seconds left. They call a timeout. They throw it the length of the court and Jared Henry takes an awesome look from three. As the ball was in the air I thought to myself "This is the worst way to lose a game ever". It hit the back iron and we got the two point win. Light Blue played us really tough. I am glad we didn't lose this game. It was a very interesting season for me. This is the least amount of points that I have scored on a team that I am on since my Junior year of high school. A couple months ago Jason was trying to convince me that we should play together. I didn't think that we were going to be able to share the ball. Now that I realize how out of shape I am I am glad that we played together. This was by far the best Intramural team I have been on. I really would have been disgusted with myself If we would have lost. This is the second time I have won the basketball championship. It's really not fair because I have been able to try to win it 7 times. I guess 2 out of 7 aint bad. So I guess my ego will stay huge for one more year.
