Sunday Morning NCAA live blog

What's up everybody.  I am still feeling the loss hangover but it's time for another live blog.  There are some big games coming up this afternoon...Oh Snap! Trey's dog found the only part of my house that isn't wood floor and took a #2.  Be right back.

Looks like we have a slow start by these Missouri Tigers.  But Kim English just slows the bleeding with a three pointer.  This game is of particular interest to me.  The other game is Ohio State vs Georgia Tech.  It would be interesting to see Evan "The Villian" Turner, but I guess I will have to settle for this Mizzou game. I am having a hard time deciding who to go for in this game. If Mizzou wins it will be an incredible upset and maybe that will take some of the heat off of the KU loss and put some on West Virginia. It will be a great story and put a spotlight on the Big 12. On the other hand Mizzou winning will bring extreme happines into Logan's life. I will have to listen to him talk about the Sweet 16 all week. Plus Mizzou will have gone farther in this year's and last year's NCAA tournament. That's not good. But on the other other hand there is no question who was the better team this year between Mizzou and KU so maybe I can feel fine with them moving ahead because I know we were better then them. Or maybe I can go into the bathroom and overdose on pain medication.

I'm sitting here with the Blue Grass Bomber and I will fill you in with our conversation nuggets.  There has been plenty of good stuff so far.  Trey brings up a good point when speaking about the new Iron Man trailer.  "Why didn't they bring Terrence Howard back?"  It's goin to be hard for me to imagine Don Cheedle in this role.  There are a couple of other actor changes through these last years that have bothered me.

Did the Mrs. Banks change bother anybody else.

Maggie Gyllenhaal vs Katie Holmes.  I think Maggie wins this matchup since Katie's husband is a Psycho.
If anyone else has one please feel free to chime in.

Ok back to basketball.  Trey and I have been discussing how to handle a loss.  Last night on one of my posts I said that I wanted to feel the pain.  I think if I don't embrace the pain and feel it in it's entirety then I'm not a good fan.  Trey disagrees with me.  He would want to forget about the loss.  Because it hurts to bad to think about it.  That makes sense.  feeling the pain will only hurt.  And I dont think anyone wants to bring my fanhood into question.  I dare anyone to try to get with me on that.  Bring it people.  I probably know more about your team then you do.  I'm getting mad.

Back to this Miz game.  Missour has been impressing me so far.  Just being able to hang in this game says something.  Let's talk about Logan a little bit.  Since I know that's what everyone wants to hear about.  Last night at about 3 in the morning while I was drowning my sorrows in my seventh Root Beer of the evening I happened to run across Logan on the social website "Facebook".  We began to discuss the loss and how heartbreaking it was blah blah blah.  The conversation flowed to the teams that we follow.  Out of the three main teams that I follow KU is the only one that has been consistently good since I have been their fan.  Since Logan became a sports fan 3 years ago the Cardinals have been his most consistent team (I know he has followed sports before that but I'm only giving him three years because before that he didn't know nuthin).  He then claimed the Cleveland Cavaliers as one of his teams.  I think I have a problem with that.  You see Logan isn't a Cleveland fan.  He is a Lebron James fan.  I will give him that.  He is probably the biggest Lebron James fan ever.  That list goes like this:
1.  Logan Stout
2.  The Mayor of Clevland
3.  All of Lebron's girlfriends.
That being said if Lebron leaves Cleveland do you think Logan will still be a Cleveland fan.  EL NO!  That's why he isn't a Cavs fan.
This was just sent to one of the staffers at lovestopicnic.com

Ok I'm sorry back to college basketball. Cornell looks like a scary good team. If they win this game they will face Kentucky next weekend. I would be nervous to play those dudes. Kansas played them at home this season and they gave KU a good run for their money. Watching the rest of this tournament is going to make me sick. For example all this Miz West Virginia game is making me think is that KU could probably play extremely well against West Virginia. I actually have them in my championship in my bootsy bracket. To make myself feel better I am now going to list broke NBA players that had it all and now don't have any money.
1. Jason Caffey 29 million dollars 8 children 7 different women. Broke
2. Latrell Sprewell just had a 1 million dollar yacht repossesd. Broke
3. Antoine Walker Gambling debts. Anyone surprised that Walker is broke. He made 110 million dollars in his 12 year career and now is 4 million dollars in debt.
4. Kenny Anderson lost all is scrilla.
5. Scottie Pippen lost 120 million. It's nothin.
Here is something else that makes me feel good.  Probably Michael's best picture.

Watching this Mizzou game which by the way is coming down the home stretch reminds me of how much I love Gus Johnson.  Why isn't he on more games?  Why does he snort cocaine before every game that he does the play by play?  Oh Snap this mug is a four point game.  If Miz gets really close and loses this game in a heartbreaking fashion I wouldn't go to Late Night tonight.  Chances are someone will be recieving a hard foul to the head delivered by L.O.G.

Michigan State just killed Maryland with the sick buzzer beater! Here is Trey and my reaction. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!
So that's it for Missouri.  They had an ok season.  Now all we have left from the Big 12 North is good ole Kansas State.  don't know how I feel about that.  So this year is alot crazier then last year's tournament.  I am not sure that I like that at all.  Jason Odenthal will be coming into the Mancave here in a little bit.  Duke is playing Cal in a big match up.  Looks like they are showing Texas A&M vs Purdue here.  Jason is not going to be happy about that.  Maybe they will switch over.

Ok Tiger Woods is about to get interviewd on ESPN.  Please believe that mug will get live blogged.  Ok this mug is a five minute interview.  That way we can find out what Tiger Wood's favorite place to eat is and then it's over.
