What I love about February (no particular order until the last two)

10. Intramural Basketball is in full swing (5:30 in the thunderdome tomorrow, Orange better watch out).

9. The Superbowl. If you in Lincoln on Sunday bring some dip cause it's goin down in the man cave.

8. My mom's birthday February 7. Which reminds me somebody text me on the 7th cause I'm goin to forget and my mom is goin to think I don't love her.

7. It's not January anymore. The worst month of all time.

6. Warrior basketball is over and the team comes down to late night for the first time since September. This is good for a month and a half till everyone hates each other.

5. Oscar nominations (tomorrow at 5 in the morning, Oscar season baby!)

4. The Wolfman, and Shutter Island. And yes Chase this mug is goin to be dope.

3. Conference basketball season. Every week KU is playing big games. Like next Monday on National Television vs Texas. Every game is serious baby! Rock Chalk.

2. Midland Alumni weekend. It's like taking all of my favorite people and shoving them in a junior high gymnasium and telling me to go kick it with them.

1. Mid America Basketball tournament. Anytime I see daylight shining into the Thunderdome I think of mid afternoon matchups between the DAA and Minnetonka girls teams. I can't wait for this year. Look for an in depth look at the tournament in a couple of weeks. This might be pathetic to say but the tournament is my favorite weekend of the year. This year will be my 11th in a row. Go Mustangs.
