A book I ordered about the last decade in Kansas Basketball came in the mail today. It has interviews from the main players through these last 10 years. It has made me think back to my boy Keith. He is one of Michael Paradise's favorite Jayhawks. Keith came in at an interesting time for KU. He played two years for my then man Roy and two years for my main man Bill. This was happening when I was in college. I felt like we went to school together. The first clip on this video has Keith hooping against Michigan State. I watched this game with my girlfriend at the time at her house in rural Nebraska. It was such a weird time in my life. And maybe one day I will tell you about it.
I was at a charity basketball game in Kansas City when I saw Keith Langford come into the gym with a bunch of other Jayhawk basketball players. I remember he was wearing a Jalen Rose Jersey. I walked up to him and I didn't know what to say. All I could think was "Hey man I love the way you play....you are going to ball it up next year". He looked at me and said "Thanks man". I still love that dude.
