#37 Snatch, 2000

This is a movie that most guys like. Most of the time when you see a bachelor's dvd collection this movie will be front and center. Every guy likes it. I have not ran into any dudes that don't. Thats why I was shocked when I saw it the first time. I did not like it. I didn't understand it. Guy Ritchie had been heralded as the new Tarantino. I love Tarantino. Why didn't I like it. What happened is when I watched I could not understand a single thing that they were saying. The next time I saw it I used subtitles. I could not believe how many hilarious lines were in the movie. Not only that I could follow the storyline. I now know why every dude likes this movie. Brad Pitt is amazing. The storyline moves fast. The dialogue is witty and funny. And there is a lot of violence. Good enough for me.
