Stuff I'm looking forward to for January 2-8

• Well the Chiefs season is over.  It is kind of incredible that if we would have made either of those two kicks last week we would be in the playoffs.  It reminds me of five years ago when I went to Lilly and Antonio's wedding in the middle of winter and the Chiefs by some miraculous miracle made it in to the playoffs.  Except this year no.  
• My wife is coming back tomorrow.  Which is nice seeing that I have zero fritos left.
• Jayhawks open Conference play vs K-State on Wednesday.  Do I think the Jayhawks will win the Big 12 this year?  Well they won it on other years when I didn't think it was going to happen.  So I'm going to say what people have said in boxing for a long time.  In order to take the Champs belt you have to beat him.  No split decisions you have to beat him.  That being said if Missouri or Baylor feels like they need this then they need to come get it.
• I don't know about you guys but I think the NBA is awesome this year.  So many games in so little time.  There is a good game on every night.  And I watch it.  Thass what I do.  I am really trying to see a T Wolves game on tv.  Clippers have been fun.  Lakers are not playing well.   And let me just go on the record saying that I think Irving will win rookie of the year.  Howard will win D of the year.  Lebron will be the MVP.  And the Heat will beat the Thunder in 5.  Now what I wish would happen would be Marcus Morris ROY.  Kirk Hinrich D of year and Durant MVP.  Also I want the Bulls to beat the Thunder in 7.
