- So The Chiefs went 7-1 this year at home. It was a disapointing last game. Did not think we would lose to the Raiders.
- When I got in the car and looked at my phone. I realized that I had to have some comebacks for IPT. I don't have anything good. But here they are.
- Hey IPT...Raiders aren't going to the playoffs and we are. (This was the most used line from all the drunk Chiefs fans to all the drunk Raiders fans.)
- Hey I pity the Raiders for not beating anyone besides the AFC West teams.
- Hey I pity Tom Cable's wife when he is spending alot more time at home after they fire him in two days.
- Hey I pity Livy for growing up to one day go to the black hole dressed as Darth Vader.
- Hey I pity myself for driving down to Kansas City to see my squad get blazed by a team that I hate.
- To be honest IPT hasn't even texted me after the game or mentioned anything to me where he lives (facebook) I respect that. He has every reason to gloat because he has been telling me that the Raiders were going to beat the Chiefs since day one. But he played this one like a gentleman. Mean while I had to cancel my drive to his house to spray paint a Chiefs Arrowhead on his front lawn. IPT wins again.
- In better news since the Chiefs lost they are now the 4 seed and will play Baltimore at noon on Sunday at Arrowhead stadium. If we would have won we would probably have been playing the early game on Sabbath. So even though I am sad that we lost I am happy that I will be able to be at the game. This will be my first playoff game. If you don't think I will be talking about this game in the upcoming days then you don't me or this blog very well.

now see, now you're making me feel bad for that little guy. I do feel kinda good about calling a 2-0 vs. the Chiefs way back in October.
I don't hate the Chiefs. Most of my BEST friends from college and academy are Chief fans. My cousin Rick Peña (that's officer Rick Peña of the Wichita P.D.) turned his back on Raidernation and his family a few years ago and got into being a Chief fan and into Motocross. Full Midwest assimilation for Rick. And I love Rick. So part of me loves the Chiefs.
I love the Celtics because they remind me of the 80s Laker parades and watching NBA on CBS on Sunday mornings.
I would clump the Chiefs into my Frienmies category.
The Broncos though... I wouldn't spritz John Elway with my Evian water if he was on fire.
Another reason I can't hate the Chiefs? Livy learned to throw her hands up in the TOUCHDOWN signal because I kept doing it during this game. Thanks Romeo Crennel!

Of course that kid hates football....he's wearing a Bears t-shirt. That's how every Bears fan responds from week 1-17. Yes, even on a bye week that is our reaction. "Why on a bye week?" one might ask. Because we know next week cometh....I HATE FOOTBALL!!!!
