Power Rankings Week 4. Down The Stretch

Ok this is the final week of the regular season with only a few more games to play.  Teams are jockeying for playoff position and every game is important.  It is starting to look like the division with team 5-8 has the toughest division.  The top 3 teams in the Power Rankings come from there.  So here they are.

1.  Purple Squad
If this teams wins tomorrow they will have had an undefeated season.  Undefeated seasons are hard to come by with this brutal schedule (five games).  I will give them props because they are in the toughest division.  With a win tomorrow against the Light Blue squad they will become the favorites to win the T shirt.  What has brought them through is their ball hawking defense and timely threes.

2.  Light Blue
Light Blue has made it all the way back to the top of the Power Rankings.  If they can defeat Purple tomorrow then they will be the favorites.  But there a few things that will be hurting this team.  Captain Richard Young will not be playing tomorrow (I'm going to Virginia) and Rayshawn recently quit the team.  Doh!  Oh yeah and this team refuses to play any kind of defense at all.  Will they be able to turn the defense intensity on in the playoffs.  I will be interested to know.

3.  Navy
This team has as good a chance of anyone to knock off one of these top teams.  They play hard and they will want revenge after their loss to Light Blue on Tuesday night.  If things go the way they are expected to look for a crazy first round match up in the playoffs with this team.  It is "win or go back to the dorm" time coming up.

4.  Maroon
Maroon had a bad loss to the Orange team on Tuesday dropping them a couple spots in thes PR's.  Still they might be the favorite to get to the championship in the 1-4 division.  Max Miner has been shooting threes...and they have been going in.

5.  Yellow 
Uh oh nobody told Jared's squad that it was over.  A good win against grey puts them back in the hunt.  Could this team sneak into the championship game?

6.  Gray 
It looks like this team's highlight of the season was the humbling of Light Blue.  They have not been putting it together.

7.  Orange 
Took Maroon off their high horse.

8.  Green 
Back to the basement.
